The food was OUTSTANDING! Quite possibly the best steak I've ever had! The atmosphere is very relaxed. Casual or dressed up you'll be comfortable. There was also live entertainment on the patio that was exceptionally good! That little girl could really sing !!
I travel a very lot and refuse to eat anything fast food or poorly made. only good restaurants get my business and this one just made my top 5. I will be making detours to come here again.
amazing!!!!!! 5 star is simply not enough. I came threw on the fly and they even cut my steak up for me to eat while driving. I consider myself a good cook but this place could impress chief ramsay! I ordered a 18oz new York strip medium and that's how I got it 15 mins after I made the to go call. also got mashed potatoes with gravy. the owner was right the gravy is amazing you can taste wood smoke in it perfectly. the mac and cheese with bacon is just as equal. the service was 100% awesome! lots of conversation ,smiles , care into each customer.
Amazing place. Loved the food and great atmosphere. The people were very nice and a lot of fun. Would recommend this to everyone.
My wife and I were back in Alva for the first time together since we were first married. Neither of us could believe there was a steak house out west on US 64 but the reviews all proved true. It was great. We both had steaks, cooked perfectly and the place was great too. It was blowing outside like I had forgotten about from my three years in Red Carpet country but inside the cozy little restaurant it was comfy. We both were overwhelmed at this place being there and if you get a chance to be up there, stop by.
So disappointing...took a group of 11 for a steak dinner, all steaks were ordered medium rare. All steaks were overcooked, several were well done or extremely well done. Did not send back because we had already waited over an hour for our reserved table, service, and food. Traveled 76 miles to get there, paid $541 for steaks, and will not be back.
